Chick Fil A @ Avalon and Owen's Graduation Party

I'm sure many of you are like me, this time of the year is busy with graduations, weddings and other fun celebrations! I got to celebrate my sweet friend Owen's high school graduation over the weekend and it was great, more about that below. His party was not until Saturday night so we had some free time and I have been wanting to visit the new Chick Fil A in this upscale shopping center called The Avalon, it was really nice!
 Did someone say chicken nuggets?!
This CFA looked very different then then ones I usually see, it was really big!
Here is a pic from the inside, we sat right next to the playground, our girls did surprisingly great! No tears and lots of fun!
We love CFA and of course Hubby and I enjoyed the Watermelon Mint Lemonade!
Cameron and Emily came over to play and of course my girls loved it, here they are watching Sing!
On they way up to Owen's party I got news that the very talented Southern Rocker and GA native Gregg Allman passed away in Savannah. Like so many others, I love so much of Gregg's work, my favorite song of his was I'm No Angel, I crank it up every time!
Here is a pic of one of my favorites, my buddy Owen. I was Owen's daycare teacher while I was working at Oak Grove Daycare in my college days. I first met him when he was 2 years old and enjoyed seeing him grow. He truly is one of the sweetest and brightest young men I know. At one point I was taller then him, can you imagine?! Owen is headed to UNG in the fall and I know he will do fantastic! I have been able to stay close to Owen and his family for a while, they have all been so good to me, I am truly blessed to have them all him my life! Here are some pics from the party.
Owen is truly loved and adored by his family, here is Dan giving a little speech before we dove into some tacos!
You can tell by Taylor's mouth she loved some blue cupcakes!
They have the sweetest house in Cleveland, GA surrounded by lost of land and this cute storage shed, I loved being back up in the mountains.
Cleveland is only about 20 minutes from Dahlonega so I wanted to show Taylor my favorite college in the world!
My beautiful girl and some beautiful flowers
I love being able to show Taylor around a place that holds a special place in my heart and memories
Standing outside Price Memorial Building, notice the Dahlonega Gold at the top?
My years at North GA were wonderful, I am forever grateful for the time I got to spend there and my parents for paying for it!!
GO SAINTS!!!
