Hercules Movie Night

Last Friday night we watched Disney's Hercules!!
I remember growing up my brother really liked this movie!
I found these Hercules figurines from Ebay, they originally came from The McDonald's Happy Meals!
Some Greek dip was the perfect treat to watch the movie with!
Its just a layer of hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese and black olives. Dip with pita chips and enjoy!

Taylor and Zeus!
Some Greek yogurt
Showing off their strength like Hercules with some wrestling moves
Watch out Bill Goldberg!

Birthday Decorations

I mentioned yesterday we had the girls birthday party on Sunday, it was so much fun and I took a ton of pics so I am going split them up. I wanted to first show you the decorations I put together for our Moana Party, decorating is always the fun part!!
I took Friday before the party off, just take a look at our garage, this is where I had to start:
See why I had to take a day off, so much stuff!!
Our girls use all these toys so I couldn't get rid of them, I just tried to straighten them out and stack what I could on top of each other. I was sweating during this for sure!!
It doesn't look like a huge improvement but here is what the garage looked like afterwards. All the bikes and toys I pushed and stacked on the left and pulled out Hubby's tapestry to hang up. Uncle G was all over that!
But I thought it went good with the beach these and kind of covered some of the garage.
We keep that big table in the garage, my parents gifted me with this table from Rooms To Go for my birthday years ago. Its a great table and really big, unfortunately it was too big for a kitchen but its been great to use for parties.
Here is the garage table after giving it a Moana touch!
The grass skirt, cups, strays and leis all came from Oriental Trading. The glass pitchers came from The Pioneer Woman line at Walmart and the Hawaiian print rug came from Ebay, I actually got 3 of them for the party! I stored all the party favors in the picnic basket.
Over the garage door I hung up some paper decoration and a cute banner! I can't say enough how grateful I was for the beautiful weather we had. Not a hurricane in sight and a nice breeze!
I finished putting this grass skirt up later that night but I thought it looked really cook with the night light, very beachy with some fall leaves :-) This also came from Oriental Trading!
A big bouncy house and slide from Jumptastic, I order from them every year and they are wonderful!!
For the front of the house I picked up some balloons at Publix and tied them to the fence.
I also hung some tropical décor on the front porch to keep with the Moana theme. I got these cute paper fans from Party City. FYI they have $2 shipping on everything this week!!
Get your Halloween décor there!
I didn't do too much to the mantel except add some balloons and a banner from Amazon, very simple!
Here is a pic of the dining room table, this grass skirt came from Oriental Trading along with the table runner. The girls already had the Maui fish hook, The Easter Bunny brought that. The number pics I make every year, I take a picture from each month and form them into the number they are turning. Love seeing how they grow each year and the cupcakes came from Walmart!
The table scape was super simple too, just a cloth table cloth from Walmart along with a flowered table runner from Oriental Trading and some bright flowers from Walmart.
Not the prettiest picture, but I cleared off our kitchen island and that is where we served some yummy Dickey's BBQ!! It was great and we have been enjoying left overs all week!
I had a great time getting to put up the Moana theme, hope you enjoyed the decoration tour!!

Simple Joys

Hey Everyone!! Happy Fall Y'all!!
Although here in GA it is more like...
Right??!! I saw this on Instastories and immediately sent it to my brother!
Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of days, I have been getting our house ready for the girls birthday party we hosted yesterday. Everything turned out great and the girls had so much fun! I can't wait to share with you all the pics and décor from the party!
There have been some really funny things in the news lately I wanted to share, they make me laugh :-)
I am pretty much just going to let the headlines speak....
And then...
Shield your children folks!!
Saturday hair, don't care!
Little Sister wants to do everything Big Sister does, including wearing her shoes, she loves walking around in them!
I was totally taken by surprise last week when I got the mail and it was not a bill but a cookbook my cousin Shirley mailed me!! It's from Bethel Baptist Church and the super cool thing about the cookbook is that it not only contains recipes from my Grandmother Kee, my cousins Shirley and Juanita but my GREAT Grandmother Annie Kee!!
How neat is this?!?!
I have never seen any recipes from her and I can't wait to give it a try.
Thank you so much Shirley for this family treasure XOXO
Taylor's BFF Arya, these 2 adore each other!!!
This is defiantly NOT a beautiful food picture, but its real life on a paper plate! This SUPER easy and cheap chicken was really good, I found it on the Frugal Girls, they have lots of crock pot recipes you will love!

I don't really share this room too often, its our loft area which is usually covered in toys, maybe that's why it doesn't get shared!
But since I deep cleaned our house over the weekend it was a great chance to take some pics of a semi clean out. I call this our GA Room, it has out Bulldog gear and some comfy red sofas by parents gave us, one even pulls out into a bed...SCORE! I love the built ins and its a room we spend a lot of time in.
A different view of our loft. The green walls was the color in here when we moved in, its really similar to our bathroom, love it!
And speaking of the Bulldogs, what a great win Saturday night!! The Dawg Nation is so excited. Does Coach remind you of everyone's favorite cousin?!?!?
