Chick Fil A @ Avalon and Owen's Graduation Party

I'm sure many of you are like me, this time of the year is busy with graduations, weddings and other fun celebrations! I got to celebrate my sweet friend Owen's high school graduation over the weekend and it was great, more about that below. His party was not until Saturday night so we had some free time and I have been wanting to visit the new Chick Fil A in this upscale shopping center called The Avalon, it was really nice!
 Did someone say chicken nuggets?!
This CFA looked very different then then ones I usually see, it was really big!
Here is a pic from the inside, we sat right next to the playground, our girls did surprisingly great! No tears and lots of fun!
We love CFA and of course Hubby and I enjoyed the Watermelon Mint Lemonade!
Cameron and Emily came over to play and of course my girls loved it, here they are watching Sing!
On they way up to Owen's party I got news that the very talented Southern Rocker and GA native Gregg Allman passed away in Savannah. Like so many others, I love so much of Gregg's work, my favorite song of his was I'm No Angel, I crank it up every time!
Here is a pic of one of my favorites, my buddy Owen. I was Owen's daycare teacher while I was working at Oak Grove Daycare in my college days. I first met him when he was 2 years old and enjoyed seeing him grow. He truly is one of the sweetest and brightest young men I know. At one point I was taller then him, can you imagine?! Owen is headed to UNG in the fall and I know he will do fantastic! I have been able to stay close to Owen and his family for a while, they have all been so good to me, I am truly blessed to have them all him my life! Here are some pics from the party.
Owen is truly loved and adored by his family, here is Dan giving a little speech before we dove into some tacos!
You can tell by Taylor's mouth she loved some blue cupcakes!
They have the sweetest house in Cleveland, GA surrounded by lost of land and this cute storage shed, I loved being back up in the mountains.
Cleveland is only about 20 minutes from Dahlonega so I wanted to show Taylor my favorite college in the world!
My beautiful girl and some beautiful flowers
I love being able to show Taylor around a place that holds a special place in my heart and memories
Standing outside Price Memorial Building, notice the Dahlonega Gold at the top?
My years at North GA were wonderful, I am forever grateful for the time I got to spend there and my parents for paying for it!!
GO SAINTS!!!

Welcome Summer!

Last Friday was the end of the regular school year around our house, although Hubby will start summer school in just a few days and work continues for me like usual, we still celebrated warm weather and longer days with a Welcome Summer Party!!
I did a Frozen theme party, cause I want to stay cool in the heat!! I ordered a yummy pizza and got some Frozen themed snacks.
Powdered donuts where our snow balls and orange slices where the slices of summer!
I already had the Olaf snowmen toys so this was a super easy table scape to put together!

 An easy Welcome Summer poster!
A basket full of fun!! Shaving cream, silly string and jump ropes
Daddy showing Taylor how to push the shaving cream out
Daddy got us with the silly string!
A small piece of what our yard looked like!
Ice cold Popsicle's are the perfect Frozen treat!
 Stuffed crust=Stuff your face!
The water table got it too!
Summer time is such a special time to be a kid, I hope my girls have the best one yet!
With all this fun Nicole needed to rest and relax!
He knows better then to get me with that silly string!
Even PK got foamed!
Our neighbor Emily came over to play too, they covered Daddy's car!
It was all smiled and fun Friday night, we had a fun time playing and getting messy!!
I hope this summer brings lot of fun and adventure for everyone!!

Simple Joys & What I Wore

When Mom came up this week for the recital she surprised me with this super cute red rooster chalk board!!
I love it!! Its big and goes great in our kitchen!! I wrote down some ideas for dinner next week on it, thanks Gigi!!
I've been wanting to try the new Chick Fil A Watermelon Mint Lemonade since I read about it this week, my sweet coworker Carolyn surprised me with one and I LOVE it!! So refreshing! You will love this!
Coco loves bracelets! Here she is a school, she can't get enough!
Work is always sweeter when the boss brings in Krispy Kreme donuts!
I think I have found the perfect summertime tee! This cutie says Sweet Tea & Flip Flops, 2 of my favorites! It came from the Etsy Shop ThisSideOfHappy.
I've had a fun fashion week getting to wear my new Lilly P items I got for Mother's Day! I love this bright pastel tee!!
This beautiful floral print came from Shein.com, its so springy! I paired it with my Target fuschia cardigan.
Still loving my Lilly P from my birthday!
This is the dress I wore from our family picture, its from Target and is super comfy!
This dress is a couple years old but I still love the slight flared waist and bright color, I also wore my new black flat sandals from Target.
This is my new favorite Disney tee, its Maleficent, if you have not seen this movie you need to! I love it and could watch it over and over again, especially if you have ever been hurt by someone you loved. The tank came from Etsy and I paired it with black cardigan and purple pencil skirt from Amazon.
Hello sea shells!! This is my new favorite Lilly P dress, its short sleeve and will be perfect for this summer!! Love it!
As we are so close a 3 day weekend that I hope everyone enjoys, I know we all remember what we are celebrating. I am so grateful for all the freedoms I enjoy as an American and I know many have sacrifised for that freedom. God Bless the USA!!
Happy Memorial Day everyone!!

Taylor's Ballet Recital

In Taylor's 4 years, this may have been one of my proudest moments of her! This week she dazzled and impressed our family with her ballet/tap recital! I was grinning ear to ear the entire time and so was everyone else. She amazed me with all she could do. I had NO idea she had learned so much!
I invited her Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. It was a Monday night so some people could not attend which we understood. I had so much fun getting ready for the party, I literally spent all day cleaning (not the fun part) but getting all the pink and gold decor our sure was! I ordered this beautiful paper fans from Design N Square on Instagram. I used her for my Christmas tree, she is fabulous! I picked up this already cut wood from Home Depot, spray painted it gold and hot glued the paper fans. The paper tassels came from Etsy and I printed off some ballet pics.
Taylor's favorite part of the cupcakes!! She is a cupcake FREAK! Like she could eat 10 in one sitting, she loves them! I got these yummy ones from Publix, I got the cream cheese frosting instead of buttercream and loved it, I will be ordered cream cheese from now one for sure!
I also picked up a smaller version of the cut circle from Home Depot, I think this was like $5 and I added the same gold spray paint and hot glued the flowers. I love how they turned out and have asked Hubby to add some hooks on the back so I can hand them in Taylor's room!
The pink satin table cloth came from Walmart and I accented it with the sparkly gold table runner from Ebay, it was only $ 3 bucks from Hong Kong, just give yourself enough time when ordering :-)
Taylor took balled/tap every Monday at her daycare thru Creative Dance and Movement, they came to her school which is AWESOME! We couldn't have done it without Gigi's help!!
Here is our beautiful pink princess!
I helped her change into her dress then went outside to save the family some seats.
Speaking of seats, check out these winners!! The kid seats!
We were all cracking up at Poppie's little seat!!
So proud of my niece Avery for making straight A's this year, she is a smarty!! And Poppie the photo bomber!

Here she is on center stage!
Ryder and Avery were there to cheer on their cousin!
This is one of my all time favorite pics!! These 4 love us and our girls so much and I know how proud they were of her! I have a picture similar to this after my recital surrounded by my 4 grandparents and I treasure it, isn't it funny how life comes full circle?
Proud parents!
Taylor got lots of beautiful flowers and we got tons of video of her dance we will treasure forever!
Everyone came back to our house after for some food. I ordered a yummy assorted sandwich tray, fruit, chicken salad, popcorn chicken, chips and tea from Publix, it was fantastic!
Our sweet neighbors let Nicole stay over during the recital, she is not quite old enough to sit still. We had lots of food left over and have been enjoying it all week.
I told Hubby that night being a parent is tough work, its exhausting sometimes but this truly was one of the sweetest moments I experienced as a Mommy and I am so grateful for it. Its like seeing your heart dance outside your chest. Taylor Sara, we are so proud of you!
