Simple Joys & House Updates

If you are a GA native like us, you are probably busy this week getting everything ready for school to start back, a lot of metro counties start this week. I am looking forward to Taylor's Pre K open house, can't wait to meet her new teachers!! I ordered these supper cute monogrammed dress from Catherine at The Monkey and Weasel for my girls first day:
Catherine does a great job as always, hopefully my girls will be excited about their new classrooms and give me a big first day smile this week!
On our way back home from the beach we traveling thru Eufaula, AL, you are probably very familiar with this beautiful city because of the huge southern homes!! Each one is so lovely, I love getting to see all these homes every time we travel thru.
Gigi knows what its like traveling with kids, she surprised the girls with this cute busy beach box! It was filled with stickers, coloring books and crayons, SO CUTE and much appreciated!
Recreating yummy beach memories with a simple and delicious low country boil Hubby made! He picked up some butter/lemon/dill dipping sauce to go along with it, it was great!!
Side braids!
I used my vinyl siding hook to hang up this cute wood sign, I think its perfect for the patio!
A few posts ago I mentioned Hubby planted some flowers on the side of our house, they are looking great so far!
All the GA rain we have been getting is really making things pop!
I love all the Edwards Frozen Pies, we picked up a lemon meringue  to go along with our low country boil, so good!
Just laughing away! Taylor doesn't even notice!
Nicole is my wondering child, she loves to go outside and just walk around back and forth looking at the street!
This book is so fantastic if you are a parent of little ones! I can't say enough great things about it, the chapters are very short, I read one every night and it really makes me think and change my perspective, especially on things that can seem frustrating when you have little ones. I heard about it from Erin at The Cotton Stem who is a mother of 4 girls herself. The author understands parents don't have much free time so she gets right to the point, love it!
A before and afternoon from my Mom! Here is a pic of her guest bathroom, now check out the after....
Wow!!!
Right?!
What a pretty difference! I think she purchased these from Wayfair.com, love it!

If you are a long time visitor of Panama City Beach then you probably remember the totally fun Miracle Strip Amusement Park! As you know, its now closed down but luckily some of the little rides are still around at Pier Park. We took our next adventure to the amusement park and had lots of fun, but it was for sure the hottest thing we did while at PCB! We went around 10:30 AM, cause the crowds at night are really big a Pier Park, but even mid morning, we were all sweating! But still had tons of fun, check it out!

Date Night & Beach Fun

Vacations with little ones is tons of fun, seeing the excitement of playing in the water makes me remember how much I loved it as a little girl. They love getting to experience new things and places. But its also a lot of work, from packing to keeping an eye on them while in the ocean/pool so when Gigi and Granddaddy offered to watch the girls which we went on a dinner date, Hubby and I were pumped!!!
We dined at Runaway Island, right off Front Beach Road in PCB and it was awesome!! Right on the beach, our table was on the porch with an umbrella to help cool us down. It had just rained so there was still a nice breeze that helped. the back porch was huge and had live music playing, fun!
Lots of fresh seafood, yum!
Nacho appetizer, oh yeah!! These were actually fried won ton strips instead of tortilla cheese, talk about delish!!!
 Look at this view!

I ordered these yummy fish tacos with cheese grits and sweet tea, a bight of heaven for sure!
Along with lots of yummy food, the girls had lots of fun playing around the beach and pool!
My child who was not a fan of sand
Just look at this beautiful emerald water XOXO
Another great part of our beach vacation is my extended family usually joins us, its changed from year to year who can come but no matter who is there we still have fun! Uncle Lee grilled some steaks one night on this patio while we watched the gorgeous sunset. Here is Taylor and Aunt Brenda :-)
There was also an ice cream stand in our hotel lobby with the sweetest lady scopping...SCORE!! We had ice cream anytime! My favorite was the mint chocolate chip!
 Dinner on the patio XOXO
 Late night swimming
 Snacks on the beach
Ever since Taylor was a baby we have taken a throw you in the air while on the beach picture, here is Coco with her Cheese Its she wasn't about to let go of!
Taylor isn't as easy to toss around as she was when she was a baby but Daddy still did it!
Our UGA tailgating friends were also on vacation at PCB, Taylor had a fun time playing with Sophia and Ricky!
My Loves XOXO
