Special Day with Tay

If you are a working Mom like me, I think you will understand this post. At my job we get a certain number of vacation days to use per year, since you never know when you may need them, for the first part of the work year, I personally don't take too many vacation days, it can be a long stretch. But I do it so when the holidays hit, I hopefully have some days to use so I can participate in all the fun! I have 2.5 days left in December which was perfect, one day for each of the girls school parties. Here is my day with Tay!
Her party fell on flannel day at school, here she is looking adorable and here I am joining in the flannel fun:
I got this cute flannel top from Target and paired it with my navy vest and skirt.
The first winter center was throwing snowballs!
Taylor's class if filled with so many sweet friends, she loves it
We made some yummy Christmas cookies at the cookie station!
She loves pin the nose on Rudolph with Mrs. Forbes!
Mrs. Forbes even had a fireplace going, I wish we had this at work!
Taylor for sure has a competitive streak in her, she was trying to win the snowball throwing contest!
Hey classroom is divided into tables, here is the orange table, super sweet kids!!
Decorating some snowmen then getting to eat them!
Getting to paint a snowman at the next station
Computer station next, loving the headphones!!
We love Mrs. Thrielkel!! This lady does so much to help all these kids out!!
I was on cloud 9 being able to help at school, loved every second!!
She loved getting to check out early!
We ended out fun afternoon at Target!! She got a toy then we got a personal pizza, breadsticks and a blue raspberry slushy!!
These kind of days don't happen often for us, so I soaked up every second and was so thankful I was able to use a day off to spend with my love XOXO

Imerys Christmas Party & OTB Progressive Christmas Dinner

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share some pics from my annual work Christmas party! Here I am with my friends Katie and Don! This year we enjoyed a lovely meal and lots of dancing at the Hotel Avalon!
Next up, my handsome date for the night, Hubby!
My sweet friend Katie looking so pretty!
Check out Gery in the background, he got up in front of everyone and sang Hard to Handle by The Black Crows, it was awesome!! Gery! Gery! Gery!
I love getting dressed up and was excited to wear this new green dress I got from Amazon, I felt like a princess!
One last pic from the red carpet!! So glam!
And if one Christmas party was not enough, the next night we hosted the dessert portion of our neighborhood Progressive Christmas Dinner!!
I had this idea this summer, I was really nervous about it, its way outside my comfort zone. But growing up our neighborhood did this and I thought it was so much fun. So after some wonderful ladies volunteered to be host homes, the planning began! Here is the cute invite I dropped off in every mailbox, I have new respect for our mail carrier!!!
I took Friday off to get my house ready, I know I cleaned all day but was really happy the way the house looked. Here is a pic of all the yummy dessert my neighbor Jenny brought over and some that I baked, it was heaven having all these sweets! Jenny also had a crock pot of hot cocoa going!!
Here are some of my sweet neighbors at the second house, Sandy and her daughter prepared a lovely turkey and we brought some Honey Baked Ham!
Getting a house ready for a lot of people is not fun, all the cleaning!! But having a house full of people who are really sweet makes it all worth it!!
So take it from me, if you have an idea, don't let fear old you back!!
Go for it always!!
Cause if you don't you could really miss out on something special!! Let the Christmas Magic in!!

Christmas Fashion

Hello friends!! I know its been a few days, I know you were like me with all kinds of plans and things to do before Christmas. I hope your Christmas was wonderful, ours was so much fun! We got to see so many family members and enjoyed some time off work to relax! I wanted to share with you my Christmas fashion this month, I love mix and matching for the holidays you can do a ton with red and green, let me show you!
Christmas means all things cozy so lets start off with the matching tees Mom and I got for Christmas, so cozy, I wore it multiple times since Thanksgiving! Do you spot a PK photo bomb?!
Looking to be festive at work? I took my Target Rudolph tee and added a blazer and pants, comfy and festive yet work appropriate!
I invested in this JCrew plaid skirt 2 years ago and I love it! Plaid is perfect for Christmas time and I love the stretch waist band! I paired it with a basic black tee from Walmart.
This is just a basic dark green long sleeved dress from Shein.com paired with a buffalo check vest Mom got me a few years ago, red and green! I found these super cute tassel necklaces on Ebay for like $3 bucks each!
I got this candy cane monogram tee from Etsy and also paired it with my buffalo check vest.
This is my new Christmas tee I got this year, I loves the plaid and leopard print, its a comfy tee from Fairyseason.com. I wore my leopard earrings with it!
Red and green again! This red pencil skirt is from Amazon and this green blouse is from Shein.com.
This festive dress came from Target.com. Its pretty loud so I like to wear a black sweater with it to calm it down, but like wear your Christmas Cheer loud and clear, right?!
No, its not Mrs. Claus, just me! This cute dress is from Lolly Wolly Doodle and I love it!! Anything with an empire waist is all me!
Green and red basics again with some leopard print! These pants came from Old Navy, the green top from Shein, com and my leopard flats from Walmart, $5!!
This cute buffalo check shirt came from Rosegal.com and I paired it with my green vest and skirt.
And to end all the Christmas fun, a Mickey Mouse Santa tee! I picked these up from Target, the girls had matching ones too! I paired them with my monogrammed duck boots Gigi gifted me with a few years ago, love them!!
As you can see I love festive outfits, its a little way to bring some cheer where ever you got!!

Breakfast at Swan Coach House

One of our favorite Southern Christmas traditions is having breakfast at The Swan Coach House then getting some cute pics with Santa and Mrs. Claus. We have been doing it for a few years now with lots of the ladies in our family, as well as friends. Its always a great meal!
All dressed up in our pearls and Christmas best Taylor and I drove out to meet Gigi and my sweet friend Janet this year!
Gigi drove all the way up from Columbus to meet us, even with her broke foot! She is a trooper!!
Taylor loved playing in the toy room with Janet, especially these blocks!
Ladies who lunch, all in our pearls!
Some pics by the beautiful trees!
The Swan House makes some of THE BEST dishes anywhere in Atlanta! I enjoyed some shrimp and grits, Gigi and Janet had some fried chicken, sweet tea of course and a dessert bar!
Taylor did really good, it was a long time to sit but she handled it pretty good, she was ready to go see Santa though!
This Santa is fantastic and so kind, he really takes his time and even talked about Paw Patrol. There was a pro photographer there who got some beautiful pics of all of us. If you follow my on Instagram I posted those beautiful pics.
This year was so special having JRae join us, we have been friends since high school, she is a ray of light everywhere she goes!!
Another great Christmas brunch at the Swan House, a special thanks to Gigi for the special treat!!
