Christmas at JCBC

Every December our church puts on the best Christmas Program ever!!
We always enjoy going and it seems to get better every year at Johns Creek, we have even been a part of it. Taylor played Baby Jesus when she was 3 months old! This year we met Omma, Poppie and Avery there and it was the first time Taylor sat thru the entire show.
Coco stayed in the nursery but looked so cute in her big cousin Avery's Christmas dress!
The sanctuary is decorated so pretty, this is the same church Hubby and I got married at, isn't it beautiful?!
The show included a marching band, children's choir, and dancing...yes in a Baptist church!
Our family friend Arlene Dawson even had a solo, her voice sounds like an angel!
Omma and Poppie saved us some good seats in the balcony. Taylor moved back in forth between my lap and her Dad's.

After the show we came home and enjoyed a big pot of bakes spagahtti my brother sent me, he tried and really liked it...
And I can see why, it was so good and cheesy!! I definitely recommend this to any pasta and cheese lovers!! Here is the recipe from the website The Magical Slow Cooker:

  • 2 (24-oz.) jars Sauce
  • 1.5 lbs. ground beef
  • ½ cup diced white onion
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp.dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 lb. spaghetti noodles (see below for cooking instructions, these don't get cooked or added until after the sauce cooks for 6 hours)
For topping
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Slow Cooker Size:

We had a fun day seeing the show and enjoying some yummy food, isn't that what the holiday's are all about?!
