Aristocats Movie Night

If you are a cat love, then movie The Aristocats is Purrfect for you!
We had a fun little movie night with all things cats!
It's an older Disney movie that reminded me a lot of 101 Dalmatians, except with kittens!
We munched on every cat's favorite snack, goldFISH!
I've heard cats love milk and I've also heard it tears their little tummy's up! Does anyone know? Maybe if they had some pink strawberry milk it would be better :-)
Coco Cat loved the goldfish of course, catfood!
Got mice?
You need a cat! Unless  you have these cute little mice, they are cute and fun to eat! I made these from some Townhouse Crackers, Colby cheese and raisins for the eyes. The tails are little cherry stems.
"Ladies don't start fights but they can sure finish them!"
My sweet little kittens XOXO
Here is Nicole playing with our own Aristocat PK
I love catching sweet moments like the girls laying on the couch together and watching a movie XOXO
This quote really spoke to me today after a difficult day yesterday, that feeling of being dragged back into a place you fought hard to get out of. Disappointment can be draining for me but I try really hard to see the positive in situations and remember how much grace I have been given so I give it freely too. If you ever feel like down, I hope this arrow quote helps you too :-)

Playing outside and some house updates

When its not raining here in the peach state, my girls love to play outside! Anything from the water table, to bikes, swinging, or drawing on the driveway with chalk they love!
Upside down or right side up, they love the water table!
Her favorite person to play with
Here is a pic of the red shelf in my kitchen, I love displaying my white pieces but I wanted to change it up a little bit, here is the before...
And the after! I know it does not look too different but I added some cook books and a cake plate, I also hung the serving spoon up on the side of the shelf, what do you think?!
For the month of June I got a bright and colorful Pioneer Woman's table cloth from Walmart along with a table runner. The plates were wedding gifts we got almost 8 years ago from Target, I thought the blue and green went great with the table cloth. I got the orange charges from Walmart around Halloween and used them again!
My dining room table is never clean so I wanted to take as many pics as possible! Hopefully one day I can get some pretty monogrammed napkins to add to my table scape!
As I said earlier, the girls love the water table, our water hose to fill it is location behind the trash cans and there is no shade near! So I got this new green umbrella from Walmart, it matched the green chairs I already have and really helps!!! Anything to help that direct sun!
With Father's Day this month I changed up my table with some pretty blue and some pics of Hubby with the girls. Also, a hand made fish from Taylor a few years ago for Dad's Day!
I love these prints I found on Etsy, my favorite is You Are the best Farter, I mean Father! I know a couple of Dad's this can apply too!
 Piggy tales and smiles!
Nothing says summer and sun like a sunflower! I found this cute wreath from Walmart, I thought it would look great by the fireplace!!
I have some more summer decorating to do, I hope you enjoyed what I have so far!

I've shared this outfit before, but here is what I wore to start off Memorial Day weekend, my Sarta Designs anchor skirt and red tee from Walmart, simple and patriotic!
My new Moana tank top from Etsy that says Be Who You Are On The Inside, I layered it with a gray cardigan and striped maxi skirt.
Another patriotic outfit for the holiday weekend, my Walmart polka dot tank and Target navy shorts!
Mom surprised me with this new Lilly P skirt, its so pretty! Its my first Lilly skirt and I love it!! It called Make a Wave! I paired it with a green top from Walmart.
Nothing says spring like some gingham and flowers, right? This is like a short dress so I paired it with some black leggins, I love it, especially the ruffles, its from Shein.com.
You can never be too patriotic right?! I love this ruffled waist on this top also from Shein.com, I paired it with my red pencil skirt and necklace, red, white and blue!
A yummy benefit from Hubby being out for summer break, he got me some breakfast from a new bakery near us, Riverside Bakery, it was very good!!
I picked up a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch Cilantro Lime dressing, paired it with some fish sticks, coleslaw and tortilla for fish tacos, very good and light! A great summer dish!
My little Polo girl with a Popsicle
There is no one my girls would rather play with then their Daddy!!
I hope everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable weekend!!

Memorial Day

Happy June 1st friends! Here we are half way into 2017, so far so good I hope for everyone!
After Owen's party we headed South to Columbus for Memorial Day Weekend, I was so excited to have a 3 day weekend, SCORE!!
My parents house looks like something straight outta of Southern Living Magazine so along with some fun things we did I wanted to share some beautiful pics of their house and garden, hope you enjoy!
To start off, the reason we enjoy Memorial Day is due to the service men and women who gave so much for our American freedoms, we are all grateful and blessed XOXO
Mom had all the tables decked out in red, white and blue decor. In just a few weeks again she can use it again for the 4th of July!
If my Dad where here he could give you a plant by plant explanation of every flower, tree and bush in his yard! I don't know much about plants but I do enjoy pretty ones! Love this pink/purple color.
One of everyone's favorites, hydrangea's!! Look how big and blue these are!
 So pretty
Sunscreen and hat one, plus a Moana necklace, we are ready for the lake!
The kids did lots of fishing
Hanging out on the dock with Gigi
Our cousins Andrew and Katherine were also there, Taylor slept with them in these cool bunk beds Mom had build in, here is the top where she hung some twinkle lights
The dining room tablescape was patriotic also
Mom's dining room is huge and stunning, a lot of the pieces came from her Mom, my sweet Granny. I love her collection of  Heritage Hall.
Here is a close up, so pretty! I love these monogrammed napkins, I hope I can get a set of my own one day!
Taylor is just all about the water these days and getting braver with everything! Look at her climbing in and out of the lake by herself!
She even talked me into going kayaking with her, after we took this pic, Katherine jumped in with us!
 Go Tay!
 Red, white and beautiful!
Sun sets on the lake are so pretty especially with lights on the dock
This yummy layered caramel cake tasted better then it looks!
A pic of Dad's outdoor kitchen
Gigi cooked up these yummy butter, cinnamon and sugar biscuits, I believe they had apples in them to, WOW they were good!
Before we headed back home, Gigi and Granddaddy took Taylor to the Columbus Water Park, she had a blast!
On our way thru Atlanta we got caught in a huge downpour! Visibility was very low so we only moved about 35 MPH for an extra hour thru Atlanta all the way to our house in Cumming, I think it turned into a 3 hour plus trip, not too much fun but the girls handled it well and slept most of the time. The sun came out later that day and we went on a stroll around the neighboorhood with our flags.
 My All American Girls XOXO
