Every Spring Break Omma and Daddy plant a BIG adventure for all the kids, this year they surprised them with a trip to Lake Lanier to ride ponies!!!

April Fools Day Dinner

Since April Fools Day fell on Easter this year, we celebrated with our silly dinner April 2!! With a lot of help from Hubby it turned out very funny!

Easter Morning & Little Things Around The House

Hello Friends and Family! Its been a while since I checked in, but all is well! I took some time off work last week to celebrate Spring Break with the girls, it was a lot of fun and I will share our adventures soon! I wanted to tie up Easter (finally) with just a few pics from Easter morning.

Easter of course called for matching dresses! I really had a time this year cause the original order did not arrive in time, a risk you take when ordered from China. So I found a cute website called Sparkle In Pink.

And here we are!

All that ordering for this one pic, but it was worth it!!

Obviously Easter is not about matching dresses, the real reason is in this pic walking into church that morning XOXO

Since Nicole can't sit still she played in the nursery while we went to the contemporary service!

It was a great service and we even got a little nap after!

If you don't follow Anita Diaz on Instagram, you should cause she is awesome! I love her home and was inspired by her kitchen. She has a beautiful plant hanging next to her sink so I tried to recreate it under $10 from Ebay, I love the way it came out!

I also wanted to share a copy of the Newnan Times my cousin Shirley sent me, the food and dining section did a special on Bethel Baptist's cookbook. My Great Grandmother Annie Kee was a member of the church and her Old Fashioned Teacakes are featured, how cool is this?! I hung the paper up in our loft and now I need to get to making these teacakes!



Bunny Breakfast & Easter at Omma's

Saturday morning we had our bunny breakfast!!

The girls woke up to see what the Easter Bunny dropped off and they were excited! Some Peppa Pig and PJ Masks toys!

A big surprise egg with Captain Underpants the movie and Ferdinand the Bull!

Bunny Breakfast is ready!

I used my bunny cookie cutter for the pancakes and scrambled some eggs and some sausage! The Bunny ears came from Oriental Trading and the napkins and plates from Walmart.

After breakfast we headed to Omma and Poppie's to dye Easter eggs!

The kids played for a while we snacked on Omma's yummy guacamole dip!

Then we headed outside for the Easter egg hunt, here is Ryder in action!

After our egg hunt we enjoyed a yummy Easter dinner with all the classics, Honey Baked Ham, brown rice, green beans and Paula Deen's potatoes!

After all the yummy food, the girls wanted to do some You tube dancing, we had a fabulous Easter at Omma and Poppie's they made it so special!!

The Friday before Easter the girls had so much fun at their school Easter egg hunt and party!!

Friday night movie was the Hannah-Barbara movie, The Easter Story!

I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was a cute and great example of what happened at the tomb!! Very sweet :-)

What I Wore

Happy Monday friends!! I hope you had a very Happy Easter, I loved getting to see everyone's family Easter pics! I wanted to share some outfits I have been wearing, you can start to see the seasons are changing, some of my outfits are for winter and some for spring!  A fun time of year!!

This is one of my favorite dresses cause of the elastic waist! I got it from Shein.com about 2 years ago and I like to wear it with black tights since the skirt is a little on the shorter side.

Blue and yellow has always been one of my favorite combinations, I got this navy stripped dress at Walmart, its got a fleece material inside, very soft!

This pretty mustard yellow dress came from Old Navy, I love it, its a silk type of material!

I love all Lilly prints but this elephant one remains my favorite!! I paired it with my navy vest to keep warm.

Pencil skirts are one of my favorites pieces to wear, they go with so much and you can get them very cheap! I paired this white skirt with my Target mint green striped shirt.

I love combining blue and green, this is a Charming Charlie top and a pencil skirt from Walmart.

I got this cute floral dress from Walmart and paired it with my black leggings, Target ankle boots and green vest, all things I have had for a while but combined together!

I got this monogrammed Easter tee last year from Easter and love it, I wore it to go see the Easter bunny with the girls.

These may be the cutest summer pjs ever!!

These are currently on sale at Target for $20, so comfy and cute!

Are you into jumpsuits? I know they are not for everyone, I got this paid from Old Navy and really like them!! I think they are light weight and good for spring time when its cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

No matter what you wear, just make sure you love it!
