Harry Potter & Fall Pics

I have been really excited about last weekend for a while, it was super busy but lots of fun! Our first adventure was a trip to see Harry Potter at The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Friday night!
Dressed and ready to go in my 9 3/4 tee and Harry Potter bracelet!
Hubby picked up some Fancy Pantry for dinner and we barley made it in time but we made it!
We also ran into a former sweet student, Daniel!
I could not take much video inside but it was so cool, they had the movie playing on the big screen and a full orchestra and choir in the background!
They even had some Harry Potter props!!
A fun date night!
Meanwhile while we got a date night, Gigi and Granddaddy picked up the girls early Friday for a fun night in Athens! Here they are at the homecoming parade!
Watching the parade go by with Melanie!
Then on to Little Italy for some pizza!!
Thanks so much to my parents for helping us all the time with the girls, they had a great time!!

Halloween Dining Room Table & A Visit from Omma

TGIF Everyone!! Its almost the weekend, yeah!! We have a lot of fun things planned for this weekend and I can't wait! But first I wanted to share our Halloween dining room table, its a real trick or treat, give me something to eat!
This table is filled with some much spooky fun! I really try to pick only fun and not too scary Halloween décor, neither the girls or I like anything to spooky!!
The table cloth and placemats came from Lakeside Collection a few years ago and the skeleton head came from Target
The orange and black wreath came from Target, the spider candle hold came from Aunt Judy! The spider web tablecloth is plastic see thru and I just put a neutral color underneath.
Thursday I got to work from home (best day of the work week!) Here is silly Taylor laughing on the way to the bus stop!
While at school a special visitor came in to read a story about bats...Omma, Avery and Ryder!!
Then they stayed for lunch, so much fun!!
When she got home I had a Halloween after school snack waiting for her, I love being able to do this and treasure every day that I can!! Have a good weekend & thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Kitchen Table & Patio

BOO Ya'll!
Ready for another part of my Halloween tour, can you handle the spookiness?!
Today I wanted to share part of my Halloween kitchen:
I Put a Spell On You!!
This is always one of my favorite spots to decorate!
Nothing really new this season, just some old goodies! All these came from Walmart and I found some black lace to make a table runner in a box!
Halloween is all about the candy right?! So I filled one big glass jar up with assorted chocolates and the other one up with candy corn. And I left out my pumpkin glass container with apple cider!
I always like scrolling thru Pinterest for chalkboard ideas! I thought this would go cute with my hanging spider!
I also hung up a Halloween wreath on the pantry door, this came from Target a few years ago and I stuck up some bats!
Heading outside onto the patio I can't wait to spook you with some new décor from Aunt Judy!
Meet Skully!!! Isn't he a fright with that black coat and orange bow?! He had been sitting in Judy's attic and now has a new home!
And if Skully didn't scare you check out this freaky clown head, he even scares me and I hung him up! Big thanks to Aunt Judy for adding to the Halloween fun!!

Eat, Drink and Be Scary Cereal Bar

Happy October everyone!! Aren't we lucky to have another fun month to make the best of?! So much fun things going on the month, try to enjoy every minute and let the stress go, right?!
I started decorating for Halloween this weekend, all while in a tank and flip flops, still really hot here in GA, but that's usual in the south. Still lots of fun!
To start off our Halloween home tour, lets start with the first meal of the day, our breakfast cereal bar!
Every October I order these yummy sugary General Mills cereals from Amazon or Target, filled with spooky marshmallows, its a fun treat!
Most of these decorations came from Walmart except the skull glass, that came from Aunt Judy and gave me all kinds of fun Halloween décor that had been sitting in her attic.
I have had these glass jars for a few years now and love them, you can find them everywhere, these came from Walmart and I tied some cute black and orange ribbon around them along with chalkboard labels. I also find the soup spoon is the easiest to get the cereal out with!
Got some extra bananas?! Then you gotta try these banana muffins cause they are delish!!! They came from The Memory Making Momma and even Hubby said how good they are. Here is her recipe, very simple and very good!! Jennifer is a new blogger and its already one of my favorites!!

Banana Nut Bread

1c  melted butter
3 eggs
1 tsp soda
1c banana
2c sugar
1c milk
2  ½ c self-rising flour
1c brown sugar
½ c pecans or walnuts (my family prefers pecans)

Cream together butter and sugar.  Mix all the ingredients together and pour in 2 loaf pans (pour to half of pan).  Sprinkle ½ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup nuts on top of each.  Bake in greased and floured pan for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour at preheated 350 oven.
