Omma's Birthday, Fall Decor, & Weekend in Athens

We celebrated Omma's end of August birthday the other weekend with some yummy friend chicken and a delicious cake made by Avery!
I have been decorating our house with all things fall and I love it! Check out this hula hoop wreath I made from The Dollar Tree! Just the hoop, pretty ribbon, leaf garland and jute rope!
September 7 was Grandparents Day! My girls have the worlds best Grandparents!! Omma and Poppie came out to Nicole's school to enjoy some muffins and fun books!
Trying to cook what I have, I found a box of banana bread in our pantry, it smells so good and makes me think of fall!!
Our sweet neighbors love playing with the girls, its been so hot here they needed some ice cream to cool down!
We headed to Athens Labor Day weekend and had a fun time tailgating and seeing all our family and friends, GO DAWGS!
GA Girls!!
It was so hot we didn't go to the game instead we went by Chick Fil A and back to the condo pool with Gigi!!
Friday night before the game I picked up some black and red duck tape from Walmart and made some of Paula Deen's banana pudding, a fun and great tailgating idea I got from the Memory Making Momma!
Friday night dinner with The Kee Family!! Dining at The Last Resort!
Nicole made a special Grandparents Day art work for Gigi!

A little catch up

If you follow along with me you know I am a big fan of The Memory Making Momma! She issued a great challenge recently involving teaching our kids to give back, I am all about that. So we picked up some yummy apple pies from Walmart, tied a cute ribbon around them and visiting our local nursing home. I know it was a blessing to those sweet women but even more of a blessing to us. This is something I want to do again!
After school snack made better when the bread is the shape of a monkey!
Friday Night Lights! We cheered on West Forsyth Friday night, so much fun!!
 Summer days at the pool!
Staying cool with some frozen yogurt at The Chill Hill!
And speaking of Frozen, Coco has been wearing this tee non stop!
The 3rd grade Sunday School class got a new teacher, can you guess who?! Me!!
I know, they most have been really short on teachers :-)
But 3 weeks into it and I am having a blast!!
Hope you are doing great!!

What I wore, The Dentist, Target & A 1st Grade Bible

I found this new tee at Walmart, perfect for a GA girl don't you think?!
This cracked me up, its the phone booth at my office!!
Baked spaghetti is always a yummy dinner, especially when it comes from my Cousin Shirley's church cookbook!
Our sweet girls had their dentist appointment last week and I was blown away about how great they did! Although they were a little scared, they had no tears and great attitudes!!
A trip to Target for some new LOL Dolls and pizza was in order, we had a blast!
Speaking of Target, check out this super cute rainbow wings dress Taylor got, she loves it!!
The girls love it when their sweet friend and neighbor Kayela comes over to play!
While Daddy had a tutoring job we had a picnic in the truck and the girls loved it!! Also, have you tried the new CHF mac and cheese, its delish!!1
Last Sunday our church gave all the 1st graders a new Bible, what a special day!!
I've got the itch already for fall colors and thought this Walmart top was perfect, burnt oranges but short sleeve, comfortable enough to wear in the dog days of August!
Summer evenings at the pool are the best!
Friday night Fro Yo with my big girl!! A perfect treat to keep cool with!

First Day of School, Playground & Shark Week

Happy August Everyone!! I hope its been a good start for everyone! I saw this quote and loved it!
Friday was National Ice Cream Sandwich Day, a great way to start the weekend, right?!
The first of August means the start of a new school year around here in the peach state! Since the mornings are crazy already, we did a back to school breakfast for dinner last week with pencil waffles and egg muffins!
Taylor Sara on her first day of 1st Grade!
Nicole Michelle on her first day of Preschool 3!
Her sweet new teacher, Mrs. Roberts!
Her new desk!
Her bestie daycare friends!!
And you may think going back to school would slow these girls down, no way! They were full of energy at the playground! Look at this monkey!
Swinging on the tire swing! Look at this playground castle!
Swinging sisters!
And we also celebrated shark week with some shark teeth, EEK!!! ITs just Bugles dipped and white chocolate bark, genius!! This idea came from The Memory Making Momma!
I also printed off a cute little shark coloring sheet!
And you know I had to close out with this one...
Sing with me!

Fried Chicken, Ronnie's Baptism & Sleepovers

Sometimes its easy to think if I had that or when I can afford this, I love this quote so much cause it talks about doing the best with what you have been given & often times, that is already a lot XOXO
I fried chicken for Sunday Supper, it wasn't KFC but it was fun to do! I would defiantly do it again!
I surprised the girls with this yummy dessert, it was a hit!! An Oreo milkshake with sprinkles and cool whip, yes please!!
Sweet smiles!
Our families came up last Sunday to support Ronnie has he was baptized at our church, it was truly an answered prayer and a special moment in his life XOXO
His kind friend Rodney who he does Bible Study with was there too!
How special for the girls to witness!
Always there with support and love!
I picked up some yummy Publix subs, fruit, made a corn salad and meatballs, Gigi also brought a yummy salad!
Friday night Taylor and Nicole had their first sleep over with friends and loved every second! They didn't want to come home!
While the girls where having fun at their sleep over we enjoyed a pizza at Village Italian!
Date Night!
