Spring Fun & JCBC Easter Egg Hunt

We have been enjoying a beautiful week here in GA with some ice cream cones on the patio, a great way to end the day!

 Coco got to study some bugs this week at school!

We celebrated National Cheery Cheesecake Day Thursday with some cheesecake shooters, so good!

 We also enjoyed some of Paula Deen's Pineapple Casserole, so good with ham!

And popsicle after school snacks!

 And who doesn't love National Animal Cracker Day when there is cake batter dip involved?!

 Just cream cheese, Cool White, Funfetti cake mix and some milk

The Wednesday before Easter we headed to the JCBC Easter Egg Hunt, it was awesome!

 Jumped in some bouncy houses!

 There was even a petting zoo!

 Lots of sweet JCBC volunteers made it possible

Easter Weekend

 Last Friday many people around the world celebrated Good Friday, the day Jesus died so we all would live XOXO

The girls and I attended our first Good Friday service at JCBC and they did AWESOME! I always get nervous taking the girls to church cause they are kids, they can't sit still or be quiet too long, but it was a pretty loud concert with lots of music and lights, they did fantastic! Then we went by CFA for some nuggets and fish sandwich...last day of Lint!

Ger it?!

Some really rough weather came thru GA Friday so it was no surprise soccer practice and the game got cancelled so it was a chance for the Easter Bunny to hop by!! We left his some sweet treats!

The girls were really excited to wake up and see what the bunny left them!

 While they played with their new toys I made some Easter Bunny pancakes!

After breakfast we headed west to Athens for visit Gigi, Garrett and Granddaddy!

The Easter Bunny came by Athens too, here they are closing their eyes for a surprise!

 We enjoyed some Honey Baked Ham, mashed potatoes and green beans

We also got a cake for Uncle G and Granddaddy!

We came back from Athens that night then got ready in our matching dresses of course for Easter Sunday at church!

I joined in the matching dresses too, love it!!

 Our sweet friends David White took our pic Easter morning, love it!!

 We enjoyed some more HBH for lunch with Paula Deen's Corn Casserole, so good!

G's 30th Birthday Celebration at CFA

Every birthday is special, but turning 30 is extra special!!

My little brother G came up this week and we took a trip to the Chick Fil A Corporate office a little outside of Atlanta!

 Pulling up into the CFA office was like pulling on to a golf course! Everything was so beautifully landscaped, bright flowers, a waterfall and a walking trail!

 CFA really treats their employees very good! So many perks! Of course water fountain and filtered water available at no price, their employees don't have cubes, they are free to work anywhere in the building and the provide lunch at no cost to their employees, I mean how awesome is that?!

We got to walk around the building and the museum showing when Mr. Cathy started, he was selling Coke's from a wagon! They also talked about his deep faith and how he used many Bible teachings in his business, you don't see that much anymore.

I was so happy to get to share a fun day with my brother, he means so much to me and days by ourselves don't happen much so it was a real treat! Of course the girls were thrilled having Uncle G here, especially when he picked them up from daycare, BIG smiles!!
