Dr.Seuss The Cat in the Hat at The Center for Puppertry Arts

Happy Monday everyone, new week, new goals right?!
I hope you had a great weekend and to all the ladies out there, a very Happy Mother's Day!
I wanted to share our trip to the Center for Puppetry Arts today, we saw The Cat in the Hat thanks to Aunt Judy!!
I pulled out Dr. Seuss shirts out of the closet again, all the Things were ready to have some fun!!
For lunch we all met at Mary Mac's Tea Room, here are all my adorable cousins, Molly Ryan, Ella and Sophie!
The lunch of course was so good!!! Mary Mac's is all southern and delish!! I also have to give credit to my girls, I get some much anxiety going out to a public place with them, but they proved me wrong and were fantastic!!
It doesn't happen too much so whenever all these cuties get together, its a photo opportunity!!
After lunch we headed to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, its a great place for kids and we had 4th row tickets thanks to Aunt Judy!
This was Taylor's first visit and mine in a long time, I think I came back in elementary school!
Almost show time!!
Coco was sitting with Sophie!
After the show we headed to check out the puppet museum, very cool!
We saw lots of puppets like Miss Piggy!
They got to pretend they were on a tv puppet show, so much fun!
Sweet little Lauren was a great helper, she was so good with Nicole!
After the museum they got to make their own Cat in the Hat puppets and put on a show!
Aunt In The Hat XOXO
All the sweet girls with Aunt Judy, what a special treat for our family!
One last stop before we headed home, Big Birds nest!!
We had such a great time, we are truly blessed with our extended family!!

Planting flowers. Cinco De Mayo/Coco Movie Night & Shelf Cooking

Happy Friday Friends!!! Everyone ready for a fun weekend?! I know everyone around me here at work has packed schedules, lots of end of the year activities and Mother's Day coming up!! If you remember Santa surprised the girls with a new play house after the swing set blew away, this weekend we planting some pretty flowers I wanted to share:
Daddy and Taylor went by Walmart and got some flowers and potting soil, each girl got a window box to plant in!
We don't have much of a green thumb but hopefully these flowers will make it thru the summer!!
Right after Star Wars Day was Cinco de Mayo and we watched the super cute Coco movie!! I ordered some nachos and churros from our location Mexican restaurant. Check out that inflatable cactus my Aunt Judy gave me!!
We are a cheese dip loving family, its so good, the girls especially love it when I put the chips in my big sombrero!!
Coco was not too sure about that big cactus, but Taylor loved it!!
Even cuter then the movie Coco, our own Coco!!
If you follow me on Instagram or Jordan at Fun Cheap or Free then you know about her May shelf cooking challenge! Basically its saving money by using what you already have in the pantry/fridge and cooking with that until its used up instead buying new recipes every week. Its fun and saves money! Here is one of my meals, I had all the topping in my fridge and thought, these would all go on a baked potato. Welcome to dinner!
Another one I did straight from Jordan was tuxedo soup which is sour cream, pasta, canned tomatoes, canned green beans, canned chicken, chicken broth and some lemon. I pretty much already had all this and just put in a crock pot until the pasta is cooked and dinner is served! Check on the #shelfcookingchallenge and try it, I think you will be surprised about all the stuff you already have and you can save some money!!!
Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day!!!

Star Wars Movie Night & Saturday Soccer Game with Gigi and Granddaddy

Happy Thursday Friends!! We have had so much going on this week I can't wait to share, I was off work Tuesday and Wednesday so I am now in catch up mode! We have been touring Taylor's new elementary school, we saw and live show and Taylor graduated PreK, so much to celebrate!! Today I wanted to share our May the 4th movie night:
Inspired by my favorite blogger, Dixie Delights it was a perfect movie for Friday, May 4th...get it?!?!?
Dixie Delights posted these super cute and easy fighter planes, just graham crackers, marshmallows and some melted chocolate for the glue, they are really good! The Star Wars containers came from Walmart!
Munching on some popcorn and wearing our Star Wars tees!
Saturday morning I got to wear my new Old Navy Chambray shorts with this little one to meet Gigi and Granddaddy at the soccer game!
What a special treat, they drove all the way up from Columbus to cheer Taylor on and watch her score a goal!!!
When Taylor is not playing she likes to come over and sit with us and drink some water, it was pretty warm that day!
Coach Daddy telling all the kids how great they did!!!
After the game and before Gigi and Granddaddy went back home we grabbed some lunch and an ice cream at DQ!! It was yummy and the girls did pretty good, no one had a break down! I think it knocked Nicole out, here she is within 5 min of driving back home after eating, she was worn out!
We really appreciate them coming up, its a long drive for a little game but I know Taylor was really happy to have them there!!
Totally off subject but I saw this pic last night and it really made me think, I hope it does you too XOXO

Star Wars & May Tablescape

Happy Star Wars Day!!
May the 4th be with you!!!!
Are you doing anything special for Star Wars day today?!
I packed up my Easter décor and put out some more flower décor, I got this super cute table cloth and runner from the Pioneer Woman's décor line at Walmart last year, I love it and its so colorful!!
I have been wanting to display these beautiful new monogram napkins my Mom surprised me, so cute and the neutral goes with everything!!
I love the mixture of different patterns with the flower and plaid.
A little view coming down from the stair, the wreath hanging up from the window is from Kirkland's.
Over the weekend we picked up some yummy lunch from The Varsity, so good and it was a perfect day to eat outside!
And look what super cute soccer team pics came in the mail yesterday, how adorable!!
Go team Freedom!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!

May Mantle

When I think of May, I think of lots of pretty flowers and Mother's Day!! Today I wanted to share with you our May mantle!
As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of artificial flowers as you can see! I ordered 2 flower garlands from Ebay, each for $6, I love the feminine look it gives!!
Like these adorable throw back pics?! That's me and my Mom on the left and my MIL with her little's on the right, so cute!!
This adorable foot and hand print off was for my little Coco, I treasure these Mother's Day gifts!! The flower candle holder came from Kirkland's last year.
I usually hang this purple heart flower wreath in Nicole's purple rooms, but thought it would like great with the other flower décor, remember to shop your home! This wreath came from Walmart.
I kept up the flower theme with this bright yellow door hanger, welcome spring! I got this door hanger from Etst a few years ago, you know I love anything yellow!!
Our silly face girl XOXO

Family Fun Saturday

Happy May greeting everyone!! It has been a beautiful week here in GA, perfect spring temps and sunshine!! Our May calendar is filling up, lots of fun things ahead!!
We headed to the Polo Fields to cheer on Daddy Coach and Taylor, they both did great!!
A big hug from her biggest fan!
It was so pretty outside we made lunch and ate on the patio with our sweet neighbor Cameron, spring day perks!
Here is a quick tent of our Walmart tent, I had a friend ask about it, I would love a screen porch one day, but for now this works great!! Except during a storm, I am a nervous wreck it will blow away!!
Saturday evening we headed to Omma and Poppie's to visit Uncle Wally, Aunt Phyllis and Aunt Debbie! It was a special treat since we have not seen Wally and Phyllis since our wedding 8 years ago!
Here we are enjoying some yummy pork Poppie cooked! It was fun getting to visit with our extended family, it was the first time they got to meet the girls, we love our family!!
