Eat, Drink and Be Scary Cereal Bar

Happy October everyone!! Aren't we lucky to have another fun month to make the best of?! So much fun things going on the month, try to enjoy every minute and let the stress go, right?!
I started decorating for Halloween this weekend, all while in a tank and flip flops, still really hot here in GA, but that's usual in the south. Still lots of fun!
To start off our Halloween home tour, lets start with the first meal of the day, our breakfast cereal bar!
Every October I order these yummy sugary General Mills cereals from Amazon or Target, filled with spooky marshmallows, its a fun treat!
Most of these decorations came from Walmart except the skull glass, that came from Aunt Judy and gave me all kinds of fun Halloween décor that had been sitting in her attic.
I have had these glass jars for a few years now and love them, you can find them everywhere, these came from Walmart and I tied some cute black and orange ribbon around them along with chalkboard labels. I also find the soup spoon is the easiest to get the cereal out with!
Got some extra bananas?! Then you gotta try these banana muffins cause they are delish!!! They came from The Memory Making Momma and even Hubby said how good they are. Here is her recipe, very simple and very good!! Jennifer is a new blogger and its already one of my favorites!!

Banana Nut Bread

1c  melted butter
3 eggs
1 tsp soda
1c banana
2c sugar
1c milk
2  ½ c self-rising flour
1c brown sugar
½ c pecans or walnuts (my family prefers pecans)

Cream together butter and sugar.  Mix all the ingredients together and pour in 2 loaf pans (pour to half of pan).  Sprinkle ½ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup nuts on top of each.  Bake in greased and floured pan for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour at preheated 350 oven.
