Going back to MPFBC & Christmas Master Bath

Happy Friday Everyone! The best day of the work week, right?!
The other weekend was super special for me when my youth minister Richard who is retiring this year had a celebration for all his years of service at my home church, Mountain Park. A little back ground for me, I absolutely LOVED my youth group growing up, I was very active in it since middle school, met some great friends, dated some guys, and made tons of teenage memories. I was truly blessed to be apart of such a great group, there was truly something special about our youth group. As we have all grown up we can now keep in touch thru social media (which we didn't have growing up, shows you my age right?!) and Richard was the reason. He was an incredible guy (still is) and an awesome youth minister so I was thrilled to be able to tell him congrats!
If you are a MPFBC member you will recognize this steeple!!
After 46 years of service there was a really long line to tell Richard congrats and Taylor had great behavior, she was very patient!!
The man of the hour!! A big hug to Richard and I am so glad Taylor got to meet him, I was grinning ear to ear. I am so blessed to have him in my life, he truly made a positive impact on so many people XOXO
I know right before Thanksgiving it was hard for some youthies to attend but some where able to make it and it was awesome!!! I love all these people, they are a huge part of my life!
Quick switch from church to bathrooms!
Here is out Christmas master bathroom, its one of my favorite spaces because of the soft white colors and lights!
It's all because of these beautiful white lights against the mirror, I just love the glow!
Mom gave me this beautiful wreath about 3 years ago and it still looks great, especially with the candle chandelier!
I am a big believer in decorating your bathroom, although you may be the only person who sees it a lot, just think of all the time you spend in there! Make it a festive way to start your day!!
Have a great weekend!!

Avery & Ryder Spend the Night & Arya Birthday

Anytime Avery and Ryder come over, its a blast!! All the kids have so much playing together and get along great! We picked the kids up Friday night and got some dinner at Chick fil A, they all love it, but who doesn't?!
Nuggets and ice cream for everyone!
Good morning!! The kids hung out watching TV and their Ipads Saturday morning.
While the kids were watching TV I got a special turkey breakfast ready. I saw the Memory Making Momma post her turkey kids table with a beautiful blue buffalo check tablecloth against the orange and thought it was so pretty!
Turkey pancakes ready to gobble up!
They are sweet as syrup!
After breakfast and since I had a plastic table cloth I used the Memory Making Momma's ide of a turkey table cloth! You just need a runner and washable paints! Here is Avery up first.
How cute did these turn out, love all the turkeys!!
One they way back home we stopped by Race Trac to pick up some car snacks, so good!!
After dropping off the kids we headed over to Monkey Joe's to celebrate Arya's 6th Birthday!!
Best Friends Forever!!
Happy Birthday Arya!!

Taylor Turkey & Christmas Master Bedroom

It seems like winter has arrived in GA already, the past 2 days its been windy and cold, like in the 40's for the high, BRR!!! That kind of weather just makes me want to stay inside!! The day before Thanksgiving break Taylor came home with a turkey hat, so cute!!
Gobble, gobble!!
I picked her up a special after school snack cause who doesn't love a M&M Blizzard!!
Notice the pretty red flowers from Hubby?!
Gobbling around!
Today is the fist stop on my Christmas home tour, no room is safe from me decorating! I wanted to start with our master bedroom and note it is never this clean, I did it all for the pic :-)
Check out this beautiful new Christmas quilt Mom got me, I absolutely love it, the holly berries are so festive!!
See that flocked garland above the window? Ya'll this was by far the hardest Christmas decoration I have EVER tried to hang up!! I was not in the Xmas spirit after this one!! I have never done anything with flocked garland before and this will probably be my last time! It was totally messy and heavy!!
But it came out really pretty, especially at night, I love the glow :-)
I was feeling extra festive this year and pulled out an old frame Mom gave me and painted it white and hung a wreath in the middle. I also found this jingle bells table runner for like $4 from Ebay, I love how this little area came out!
And here is my favorite view, I love the white tree at night, I got it from Walmart 5 years ago and it still does great, I am dreaming of a White Christmas!

Plant Visit & Thanksgiving Pot Luck

Hello Friends!! How was your Thanksgiving break?! I hope it was wonderful and restful, I enjoyed everyday getting to be with family and at our home, not working!! I need to do more of that!! I wanted to share my recent trip to our plant at work with ya'll, give you a little peek at what we actually do!!
Safety first at all our plants!!
Here I am rocking (get it, we are a ROCK plant) the hard hat, safety goggles and bright vest!!
As you can see from this pic our plant mines a lot of rocks, you would never know it but rock is used for a ton of different things, they mine it down really fine.
No pic beyond this point but here is the entrance to our mine!! Very dark and it stays the same temp pretty much all year round!
After my plant tour and on the way home I stopped in downtown Ball Ground for some lunch, nothing beats yummy hot cheese pizza!
While I went on a field trip to our plant, Taylor got to go on a field trip to see Dr. Seuss at West Forsyth High School!! She wore her Thing 1 tee of course!
Before the girls Thanksgiving school break they wore their super cute Thankful pumpkin dresses, I thought they were perfect for Thanksgiving!!
One of my favorite meals for the entire year is our annual work Thanksgiving pot luck, all the homemade food is some of the best ever!!
I mean just look at this, does it get any better?!?!
Here is my work BFF Lois!! She is who I am thankful for every day, we have worked together for years and she is THE BEST!!! She helps me, makes me laugh and is one of the best hearts of anyone I know, she is a treasure XOXO
My little cutie XOXO

Happy Thanksgiving to all my sweet readers out there!!
I am truly thankful for each of YOU who take time out of your day to read this little blog, I appreciate each one of you! We will be off visiting family the next few days so this will be the last post until next week, but I can't wait to share all kinds of décor and fun this holiday season!
Today I wanted to share all about our pride and joy, Taylor!
She was one of three kindergarteners to receive the Chief Leadership Award at school!!!!
We got the email from her teacher that she had been picked based on being kind, showing a love for learning and leadership. Hubby and I were BLOWN AWAY! I mean grinning from ear to ear!!
A quick stop by the restroom before the ceremony and I saw this! I mean is this the coolest girls bathroom ever?!
Sitting with Nicole was an experience, she can't really sit still do Daddy was up a lot with her.
There is out Chief Leader!!!
Great job Taylor!!
Everyday we are proud of this sweet girl XOXO
Proud Daddy!
No wind and rain storm can stop this smile!!
