Simple Joys

Its the last day of August, can you believe it?! Looking back its been a fun one and I know September will be even busier and better! Just a few simple joys to share with you today :-)

When your awesome Mom surprises you with a new monogrammed fall bag!! Isn't it so pretty? It came from Marley Lilly, a super cute online shop. I can't wait to start using this!!

Taylor has been doing great on her behavior at school, she even got to pick up a sweet treat from the treasure box!

Check out the beautiful new garage doors at my parents how, talk about a WOW factor!! So pretty!!

I love being able to take Taylor to the bus stop once a week!

And I  love being able to make Taylor an after school snack, this week was pigs in a blanket!

I also baked some of Nesting with Grace's famous bread recipe! Its a winner ya'll and for only a few bucks, check out Brooke's blog!!

Got my red and black ready for the game on Saturday, football season is here and I know everyone is so excited!!

I hope you all enjoy the long weekend, especially for all the hard workers out there, take Monday to do what ever you want cause you earned it!!

Fowler Park

Another pretty Sunday, another fun park!

We went to Fowler Park this weekend and had a blast but boy was it HOT!!

We walked up towards the playground and heard all these little voices saying Taylor is here!! A a lot of our friends from daycare and kindergarten where there too, they girls were so happy!!

This little one has no fear!!! She will just go for it, heights don't bother her!!

Then to pick up a few items at the store, we may have walked out with some candy corn!!

Friday night fun

Here we are, can you believe its the last week of August, this month has been one of my favorites so far, we have got to enjoy many sunny days with no big plans, a win in my book! Here are some pics from Friday night, Taylor did great all week on her kindergarten behavior chart she got some a Happy Meal as a special treat!

It was so beautiful outside Friday with fall like temps we went for a stroll around the neighborhood! Notice Coco's slippers?!

After a fun Friday night we made some yummy pancakes for breakfast!

And we all know donuts=happiness!!

My girls LOVE pink sprinkled donuts, like for real they each get 3 and just eat the icing!

Sunday Funday

While Hubby was working on some extra jobs Sunday, the girls and I went on a fun and cheap big adventure to Sims Lake Park and McDonalds playground, we had a blast!

Sims Lake is about 25 min from our house in Suwannee, GA, right next to North Gwinnett High School, its a fun one with a beautiful lake and great playground!

Headed down to the lake first to see if we can find some fish!! I picnic here would be fun too!

Front Porch Football Decor

With football kick off just weeks away and some high schools already started, Taylor and I pulled out our red and black to decorate our front porch with!! Lets GO DAWGS!!

We started with my football door hanger that I got from Etsy years ago and I love it!! Its big and super cute!!

I follow the Instagrammer Britt Williams, she is a fun one and a big Tennessee fan! Although I am far from that, I do love the way she decorated her front porch, she hung a cute banner on the window. I found this one on Etsy and just got some suction cups and it came out super cute!

Last Friday was bittersweet for us as we said see ya later to Ms. Kelsey, she is started college this week in DC! We are so excited for her but we sure will miss her, she has been so good to my girls XOXO

When Avery was little she LOVED Dora as my girls do!! Omma made this beautiful Dora dress for Avery, then passed it down to Taylor and now Nicole loves it, thanks Omma!!!



What I Wore

Happy Monday Friends, hope your start to a new work week goes smooth and enjoyable! Just wanted to share some recent new clothing items I got and some oldie but goodies!

Lilly P and white just go together like cinnamon and sugar I think! Tassel necklace from my Mom and white pencil skirt from Amazon.

Another Walmart win! A comfy black maxi dress for under $20 goes pretty much with everything! I paired mine with a pretty mint green necklace.

Hot pink with black and white is a great combo, I love this skort from Walmart as well as the tee!

I think this paisley print Walmart dress may be 5 plus years old but it still looks great and has so many color you can match jewelry with, I used my mint pearls for this look!

Sarta Designs makes my favorite skirts, I think I have 3 of hers, I wish I had more!! She did this beautiful Lilly print and I paired it with my Walmart top and tassel necklace.

I found this crochet vest from Ebay and love it!! It was used but in great shape and very cheap. I think it will go so much, can't wait to try different outfits!

This cute leopard print Stein Mart dress came from my Mom a few years ago, it still looks great and I paired it with a pretty Gap green cardigan, love the color combo!

I love anything blue and white, from dishes to cloths! This comfy top came from Walmart and I paired it with my Amazon white pencil skirt.

I got this cute Disney tee and I paired it with my hot pink skort, a fun outfit to wear!
