Strawberry Shortcake Movie Night

As a child of the 80's, I loved Strawberry Shortcake growing up, she was so cool with all her fruit friends. So having 2 girls lets me relive my past with fun DVD's like Strawberry Shortcake!! It was all about the pink!

This was so much fun to put together cause I love strawberries!! I made some strawberry milk, picked up some Good Humor bars and made a strawberry cake. The little figures came from Ebay, I think they were part of a Happy Meal at one time.

I went totally feminine with this one and loved it!! I also made some biscuits with strawberry jelly, simple yet delish!

The girls get excited when they see the new movie night!

Weekend Fun

Happy Wednesday Friends, hope you are having a good week, ours has been good but kind of crazy with our girls getting sick, its like a juggling act between work and trying to be there for them, but you find a way to do it :-)

Danielle & Forest's Wedding

Here we are at the Bull Creek Lodge in Dahlonega for our first Thursday night wedding!

The setting was absolutely beautiful, a venue in the North GA mountains. Danielle is part of our UGA tailgating family, I have known her since she was born!! She seems very happy and we are excited for her!

My beautiful cousin Melanie and me, she just celebrated her first anniversary this weekend!

The food served was so good, Jim N Nicks BBQ!! One of my favorites!! The biscuits are delish and the mac and cheese served in a black skillet, so cute!

Hello Summer, Master Bed Deco and What I Wore

Hello friends, I am a little late in saying but....

May we all have a good AC that runs!! And enjoy those long summer days!

Do you love sweet strawberries in the summer but hat how fast they go bad after spending that money? Quick tip from Brooke at Nesting with Grace, soak them in 1 cup of white vinegar then fill bowl up with water for 10 min. This makes them last way longer and no bad vinegar taste!

Mom gifted me with these beautiful wall scones, she had them hanging in her dining room and texted me asking if I wanted them..HECK YEAH!!!

I hung them over our bed in I love the rustic look the dark wood gives, so pretty, thanks Mom!!

My favorite new Target dress!!

I love a white summer dress and when I saw Kate from The Small Things Blog wearing this one I thought it was perfect. Its like and a comfy waist, a little pricy, this was $30 but I love it!

I've had this Walmart peplum top for a few years now, I love the mint color, how soft it is and how it hides your Mommy left overs!

I love anything chevron and this maxi is one of my favorites, its so comfy and I love the peach color! It came from Amazon.





Father's Day

Happy Belated Father's Day to all the great Dad's out there, especially my own!!

Here I am with my Dad, Grandmother and Granddaddy and Garfield!! My Dad totally rocks and has been my rock forever, he keeps me laughing and gives great advise. Plus he is really smart! I am a blessed girl!

Taylor and I went to church Sunday morning and had so much fun teaching with our friends Alicia and Justin and their 3 girls and son, we love them!!

After church we stopped by Publix to pick up some Daddy's day treats!!

We picked up some of Daddy's favs, fried chicken and cookie cake, YUM!!

Taylor did such a great job helping me set up!!

Tooth #2 on the loose, Flag Day, & White Shorts 4 Ways

Late last week we were all surprised when Taylor's second tooth came out!! It was a bottom one and boy was she excited!!

Here she is with a big grin and less teeth to show!!

Daddy helped pull it out, they were both surprised I think!!

They also made some glitter slime that night!

Most every one has a basic pair of shorts they wear during the summer, I love shopping my closet to create new outfits from one piece! I took a paid of super cute scallop short 4 different ways, its fun and cost efficient!!



Church and Taco's on the Patio

Last Sunday Hubby was going to church with me but some plans changes when he needed to go tutor so I ended up taking both girls to big church by myself and it was not awful!

Now, it was not great, but we made it 50 minutes before we had to leave, not to shabby with a 2 year old!

Hubby was a sweetheart and surprised me with the new Starbucks Ultimate Caramel Frappuccino and boy is it good!! If you love caramel this is a summer treat for you!

A special treat for us, Mexican food!! It was the perfect night for dining outside, very simple chips, salsa, guacamole, tacos and cheese dip of course!
